Yaz 0.02mg/3mg (28 Tablets)

Yaz is a brand name for a combination oral contraceptive pill. It contains two active ingredients: ethinyl estradiol (a synthetic form of estrogen) and drospirenone (a progestin). Like Yasmin, Yaz is used to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation and altering cervical mucus and the uterine lining to make it more difficult for sperm to reach the uterus.

In addition to contraception, Yaz is also sometimes prescribed to treat symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and moderate acne in women.
